We are looking for that individual who is “a force of nature,” someone who takes ownership and is committed to delivering great products. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving delivery of features and infrastructure for upcoming releases of the services.
Description
Apple is seeking a high-energy and hard-working Sr. Engineering Project Manager who will play a central role in the delivery of scalable services. We are looking for someone who understands software development (Agile and SCRUM) and has experience working with software engineering, design, QA, and across external teams to manage and supervise deliverables. The position is hands-on. You'll be deep in product details and requirements, challenged to innovate and strategize new features, build relationships, and be people-focused to get results. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of full project lifecycle experience.
Experience navigating complex software engineering challenges while working with various teams to resolve delivery dependencies.
Experience with SDLC methodologies and release planning.
Understand both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
History of working with QA teams to determine issues that are resolvable and verifiable.
Successful track record in cross-team and cross-organization collaboration.
Knows how to "close the loop" on work.
Strong facilitation skills to drive a complex, cross-functional, and comprehensive project plan.
Self-sufficient with the skills for learning.
Deals well with rapid changes and remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills. Must be comfortable communicating with executive management and cross-functional teams.
Ability to influence, lead, and mitigate risks.
Ability to independently learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject area, with 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
