Description
The Worldwide Operations Finance team is seeking a highly motivated and creative Data/Finance Analyst to help build the future of our procurement analytics. This role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the core financial models that drive our business decisions.
You will partner with a System Architect, Data Engineer, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance our primary forecasting model, Cost POOL. This role is broad in scope and will evolve with the project lifecycle, giving you a unique opportunity to influence a critical project from its early stages and make a significant impact on the business. You will be at the center of integrating disparate data sources, establishing new standards for data governance, and creating analytic frameworks that will be used by Procurement Finance teams worldwide.
In this role, you will:
Think analytically and are passionate about using your financial knowledge to navigate complex challenges.
Enjoy working with complex, messy data and are naturally curious—always looking to dig deeper, simplify, and find the signal in the noise.
Act as a skilled communicator who can translate complex data insights for both technical and non-technical partners.
Be highly organized, thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility environments, and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities as projects evolve.
Responsibilities
Partner with Finance & Technology teams to analyze current business processes and translate findings into effective analytics solutions.
Manage the full data lifecycle: identify, cleanse, and integrate large, complex datasets using ETL tools and languages like Dataiku or Python.
Simplify and present complex financial models to diverse stakeholders, showcasing deep finance knowledge and a strong eye for process improvement.
Dig deep into vast amounts of data to unearth features and signals, creatively deriving actionable insights that drive the business forward.
Utilize SQL, Tableau, and Python to analyze, interpret, and visualize data for key stakeholders.
Establish and champion data governance best practices, driving alignment across a variety of stakeholders with varying processes and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in a finance or data analytics role.
Advanced Excel modeling skills, with a proven ability to distill complex data into simple, comprehensive financial models.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
Experience with data wrangling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) automation processes using Dataiku.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical partners.
