Description
We are looking for a finance professional with deep functional expertise who can lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the finance organization. This role sits within Finance and focuses on enhancing core finance processes, strengthening controls, and improving reporting efficiency through smart use of automation and digital tools. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting or finance operations experience and a mindset for continuous improvement and modernization.
This role collaborates across our extended team of financial analysts and interacts with partners in IS&T and the Finance Transformation Office. The value you bring to our team is the ability to understand existing processes, design and implement innovative solutions, and effectively prioritize enhancement activities. Effective teamwork is critical.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years experience in finance operations, transformation, or automation roles
Strong understanding of finance processes and controls
Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL and experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Looker).
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous problem spaces.
Proactive problem solver, encouraged to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or R
