Description
Within Apple Acoustics, the iPhone Acoustics Integration team has comprehensive ownership of full system acoustics performance from concept to mass production of iPhone. We continuously innovate with multi-functional teams ranging from transducer design and audio tuning to system hardware, software, mechanical design, quality and reliability. We are looking for an Acoustic Integration Engineer who enjoys high initiative collaboration and wants to make a profound contribution to Apple's flagship products.
Have you owned audio system architecture from conceptualization to launch? Do you like solving speaker and microphone acoustic integration challenges while collaborating with multi-functional engineering teams? Are you proficient at presenting technical audio and acoustic concepts to project teams and management? If so, we want to hear from you!
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in an acoustics engineering role, preferably within the audio consumer electronic industry
BS/MS or equivalent, preferably specializing in acoustics
Strong communication and technical presentation skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in acoustics engineering role, producing and shipping high-volume consumer electronics
Experience working with off-shore manufacturers
Proficiency in audio signal processing
Experience in acoustic and structural resonance and vibration
Proven success in the design, manufacturing, and failure analysis of audio systems
Experience with integration of speakers & microphones
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
