The Content Design Group at Apple works to create amazing consumer-facing
connections with people across the Apple Services ecosystem. Strategy has
become an important pillar for this group, as we delve into more complex
challenges and opportunities. The Content Design group is looking for a seasoned
Content Strategist to focus on the Apple Music and Podcast line of business. This
is an incredible opportunity for the right person to dig into the culture and
behaviors surrounding Music and Podcasts today, and to help Apple stay at the
center of culture.
Description
The Content Strategist will partner directly with the Head of Design for Music and
Podcasts. They will be responsible for bringing frameworks, rigor, and leadership
to shaping projects of all sizes. The Content Strategist must be able to run and
manage multiple levels of research from user data, to qualitative research, and
cultural listening and assessments. They must be able to understand and assess
business strategy and opportunities alongside creative ones. This person must
feel comfortable forming relationships and alliances with people from all different
departments and lines of business when necessary. They will write briefs for
entirely new projects and pitches, along with projects that may simply need a
reframing. This person will have a passion both for Apple, and for the culture
surrounding Music and Podcasts.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years experience running creative strategy teams at an agency or in-
house
Ability to clearly communicate strategies and coach others to develop a
reductive approach
Experience working directly with Design and Creative Direction to
influence creative outputs including campaigns and content systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication and ability to present work
to large groups and executives
Expertise in designing and running research including qualitative and
quantitative approaches
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated creative and innovative problem solving and a willingness
to take the lead where needed
A penchant and eye for culture, business opportunities, and an ability to
inspire others with a strategic story
Empathy and understanding of how to advocate for users with peer
teams like Production and Design
A passion for Apple, its products, and its users
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $197,400 and $297,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
