This position is part of the Global Network Services (GNS) business within the Global Merchant & Network Services business group. The GNS business drives scale and relevance for the enterprise by through partnerships with banks, financial institutions, fintechs and cobrand partners worldwide on the American Express network. Through GNS partnerships, we can offer exciting and innovative products and benefits in GNS countries, improving merchant coverage, strengthening the value proposition, and amplifying the American Express brand. The Senior Analyst role sits within GNS Product, Marketing and Global Businesses (PMGB) and plays a critical role in the team responsible for accelerating growth by developing strong partnerships, innovative business agreements and models, ensuring the launch of market leading products, customer experiences and digital capabilities backed by outstanding marketing and portfolio management. Reporting to the Manager, this candidate will partner closely with cross-functional business partners across Business Development, New Business Development, GABM, Legal, Finance and Pricing to drive Card Member engagement across the customer lifecycle and to support winning new business deals.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver Impactful Marketing Consulting to Existing Partners: Partner with both the Manager and Business Development Team to bring AXPs core capabilities to life through recommended marketing strategies and marketing creative consultation across go-to-market, acquisition, and the customer lifecycle.
Lead Benefit Marketing and North America Benefit Innovation: Ensure our existing partners are leveraging accurate benefit information and are made aware of any new benefits or benefit collateral available, with the support of the Central Benefits Team in PMGB. Additional opportunity to lead workstream to curate bespoke network benefits for the North America partners.
Drive New Business Through a Compelling Network Vision: Serve as a key partner in developing components of new business pitches that present the network value in a compelling and comprehensive narrative; including leading card art and marketing mockup development with an external agency.
End-to-End Third-Party Relationship Management: Oversee vendor management, billing, and compliance, and strategy for our network insurance offerings and concierge benefit.
Manage all Data & Reporting: Own the tracking and reporting of insurances, TEN concierge, and Network benefits in the benefits dashboard both for internal stakeholders and for existing/new partners ad-hoc requests.
Internal Stakeholder Connectivity: Own, lead, and manage meetings across key internal stakeholders across PMGB, Business Development, New Business Development, GCO, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong project management skills to effectively manage and drive evolving, critical initiatives
Solution-orientated and creative thinker with the confidence to provide recommendations
Strong written communication skills, particularly the ability to develop strong and compelling presentations
Collaborative team player that can manage relationships across Central PMGB teams, Business Development, New Business Development, GCO, Finance, GABM and more
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated card-issuing expertise across product strategy and/or marketing
Experience managing and developing relationships with external partners
Experience working with external agencies to develop digital assets and marketing communications that bring AXP capabilities to life in innovative ways
2 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree

Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
