As a technical lead for our data quality program, you will spearhead initiatives to ensure the highest level of data quality for internal Sales teams and customers.

You will partner with IST, Data Analysts and multi-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain tools and processes that evaluate and enhance the quality of our data. Your insights and strategies will influence the accuracy and reliability of Sales tools and reporting, identifying and resolving data quality issues, and setting service level standards for data quality.

Description

  • Manage the development lifecycle and resources across all data quality initiatives
  • Implement data quality processes including translation, parsing, analysis, standardization, and enrichment at point of entry, batch, and real time modes
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and document data quality procedures/mappings and outputs that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment
  • Create metrics to evaluate data accuracy, consistency, and relevance. Identify and employ statistical methods relevant to data quality testing
  • Develop and implement scorecards to monitor data quality program performance. Identify causes of errors or discrepancies in data collection and recommending solutions
  • Contribute to data culture by promoting data quality awareness and ensure that data pipelines adhere to quality standards
  • Work with collaborators and vendors to identify and implement data validation checks. Implement and automate test cases and perform bug tracking

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of validated experience translating business rules into code and developing them in an enterprise ETL/ data quality tool (CDQ preferred)

  • 10+ years' experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets

  • 5+ years experience overseeing other engineers/analysts and managing code quality

  • Advanced Python knowledge

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as familiarity with a variety of databases

  • Expertise with data visualization and business intelligence tools, ex: Tableau, for improving data transparency and accessibility

  • Expert knowledge of version control implementation approaches such as GitHub

  • Hands-on experience developing and designing solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying flow, data usage, and work processes.

  • Ability to perform data validity, accuracy, and integrity tests across different components of internal data systems

  • Knowledge of API design and development, and expertise in Python, JavaScript, and related technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of data quality processes, framework and implementation experience with enterprise tools and global partners

  • Master's Degree preferred
