Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop, and modify daemons, frameworks, libraries, and applications for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS for shared, collaborative real-time experiences including FaceTime, SharePlay, SharePlay-over-CarPlay, Shared with You, Screen Sharing, NameDrop, invitations to collaborate, and peer-to-peer encrypted messaging for real-time collaboration experiences through Apple applications. Design, architect, develop, test, and release new software features and products for applications, including SharePlay and for real-time communication over FaceTime. Invent forward looking architecture that advances the technological roadmap to provide the best possible operating systems and features for shared experiences, activities, and collaboration with friends and family. Fix bugs and issues in FaceTime, SharePlay, SharePlay-over-CarPlay, Shared with You, Screen Sharing, NameDrop, invitations to collaborate, and peer-to-peer encrypted messaging for real-time collaboration experiences by reproducing the issues locally, identifying root causes and steps to reliably reproduce, making judgement calls about the relative severity and priority of different issues, writing code to address the bugs, reacting to pull request feedback, and integrating the changes. Polish and refine the FaceTime, SharePlay, SharePlay-over-CarPlay, Shared with You, Screen Sharing, NameDrop, invitations to collaborate, and peer-to-peer encrypted messaging for real-time collaboration experiences software prior to launch by prioritizing and fixing the most critical areas of polish prior to initial release. Iterate on quality improvements and enhancements for providing the best possible operating systems and features for shared experiences, activities, and collaboration with friends and family by real-world testing to identify rough edges in the experience, iterating on ideas for refinements with design, marketing, and other key partners, and creating technical solutions that address the aforementioned rough edges. Coordinate cross-functional interactions with quality assurance, design, partner teams, and marketing to provide to customers the best possible operating systems and features for shared experiences, activities, and collaboration. Create public Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that are easy for developers to understand and adopt, adaptable to different use cases and scenarios, and provide meaningful capabilities that developers would be interested in adding to their applications. Collaborate with third-party developers on the adoption of APIs for driving adoption of system capabilities and features by interacting with them at developer conferences and engaging in 1:1 support sessions, and react to developer feedback for proposed enhancements and improvements by implementing advancements to the APIs that provide the top developer asks in the form of new or augmented functionalities. Create educational materials for adopting these APIs in the form of videos and technical lab sessions to help developers identify best practices and avoid common technical pitfalls. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Experience and/or education with each of the following skills is required:
Using C++ or TypeScript for software application development; Leveraging Cloud Service, AWS and Cloud Engineering software development tools
Building distributed software systems
Creating scalable, reliable software using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Developing daemons, user agents, frameworks, or serverless architecture to handle background software processes.
Developing information and internet security software , resolving software security attacks and applying mitigation techniques
Working with cross-functional teams of different business roles to assess functionality of developed software
Utilizing agile, waterfall, or stage-gate, and project management concepts to communicate status of project progress
