Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants that create opportunities to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Director, Amex Offers Digital Media (AODM) Sales Enablement sits within the team reporting to the VP, AODM Go-to-Market. This individual will lead the team that is supporting Amex Offers and the new Amex Ads products. The Sales Enablement team will be a key player in launching Amex Ads and continued growth of Amex Offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the forward-looking activation strategy

  • Develop and maintain pitch and marketing collateral for the products

  • Own sales training for the Customer Success and Business Development teams

  • Create and share case-studies

  • Own the RFP-response media planning process

  • Partner with the product team to inform the product roadmap based on client feedback

  • Partner and build relationships with teams across the enterprise including finance, marketing, technologies, control management, legal to support the growth of the new product

  • Conduct thorough risk and compliance processes with proper controls

  • Ensure all aspects of the American Express Code of Conduct are adhered to so that we uphold the highest standards in our interactions with our customers and compliantly meet all regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in the Digital Advertising or Retail Media Network space

  • People management experience

  • Go-to-market and sales enablement experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong relationship management skills to deepen and grow partnerships across all levels

  • Self-starter and motivator

  • Ability to work in white space and ambiguity, comfortable with building something unproven

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and developing business recommendations

  • Using analytics to drive business decisions

  • Understanding of advertising industry

Qualifications

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
