Apple's Engineering Program Management Team is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Allocation Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to join our team! As an Allocation EPS, you will manage inventory for the engineering teams, ensuring accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining and organizing a high-mix inventory. Additionally, you will be responsible for timely distribution of samples to our internal customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a great teammate, and a strategic problem solver who can lead and work with cross-functional teams.
Description
As an Allocation EPS, you will work closely with the shipping and receiving teams to coordinate shipments, assist with the preparation of documentation for outgoing shipments, and support in resolving any logistics and customs challenges as needed. You will scan serial numbers and distribute samples to engineering teams accordingly. You will receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy of the contents, and record in the inventory system. You will keep track of in/out log for traceability, maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area and conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy. You will manage excess material, scrap development material per request, and maintain clear records and documentation. You will investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records and run inventory reports to support various analysis efforts. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in organizing, maintaining, and analyzing large quantities of data.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, or logistics.
Basic knowledge of international logistics, import/export, and customs clearance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to identify areas for process improvements.
Ability to react to resets and changes in a time-sensitive environment.
Experience in a fast-paced and self-guided work environment.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $46.80 and $78.05/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
