Lead efforts within materials, inventory, or logistics to develop a cost-effective supply chain. Ensure key stakeholder requirements and expectations are met from end to end in each of the supply chains. Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient Supply Chain. Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Operating Systems and Functional Excellence direction and leverage relevant processes tools, and information systems. Assess and identify process gaps across core warehousing and material operations processes and capabilities. Manage Execution by coordinating performance across regions, teams, and departments on complex supply chain projects, and define planning and review practices that result in few missed milestones and minimal surprises. Promote Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead the cross-Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment. Create supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships. Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Support, design, and lead site implementations of processes and tools to improve site capabilities in warehousing and material operations. Support improvement glidepaths with new or enhanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) solutions. Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability. Critically identify an issue’s scope and parameters while analyzing from multiple perspectives, and determine and analyze root causes and implications of issues. Integrate information and define an array of alternatives to plan and measure progress and achieve best practices by applying a variety of analytical tools and processes including Six Sigma. Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets through use of Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Positions require a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain or Sourcing Analyst or Planner, Packaging or Manufacturing Engineer, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management, or related field and 6 years of experience as a Supply Chain or Sourcing Analyst or Planner, Packaging or Manufacturing Engineer, or related position. Experience to include: Supply Chain Management; Continuous improvement projects; Warehousing operations processes; Manage Execution; Supply chain processes and procedures; Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Warehousing operations and tools site implementation; Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Root cause analysis; Plan and measure progress applying Six Sigma tools and processes; Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques.
