You will help build and grow a global financial services compliance program, all in support of ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations while offering amazing financial services products.

This role is well suited for a self-starting independent thinker who loves solving problems, managing complex projects, and learning new subject matter areas.

We’re looking for someone who works well in collaborative environments with minimal formal structure and is comfortable in changing environments with competing priorities. They must possess financial services product knowledge, a natural curiosity, and the ability to effectively shift between communications styles based on the audience, from technical conversations to executive leadership updates.

Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Financial Services Compliance team to coordinate projects for Apple Payments Services LLC, the subsidiary supporting Apple Card, Apple Cash, Apple Pay, and related products.

In this role you will:
- Lead cross functional organization of compliance initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project and governance schedules.
- Ascertain and document annual compliance program requirements and ongoing obligations upheld to facilitate a comprehensive program framework.
- Tracking project progress against the plan, identifying potential issues, and taking necessary actions to address delays or roadblocks
- Work with international compliance teams to consolidate and coordinate projects.
- Assist with scaling programs to incorporate international compliance obligations.
- Complex coordination and management of licensing examinations and similar regulatory matters.
- Communicate project status updates to various project partners, including team members and executives. Synthesize a multitude of issues into a clear, concise and focused message. Present with confidence and brevity.
- Engage with compliance teams to evangelize best practices and pursue improvements. Assisting the team with ongoing improvements to the program management processes.
- Oversee end-to-end initiatives that require the coordination of multiple teams to reach resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with compliance or legal Project Management including management of regulatory matters including state licensing examinations

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability manage across cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with GRC tools and content management platforms, including Auditboard and Wrike, and training delivery platforms

  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve complex objectives
