The US Consumer Services (USCS) group is responsible for growing our consumer business worldwide, strengthening our global leadership position in the premium and travel space, and delivering exceptional, differentiated customer experiences.

Within USCS’ Travel & Lifestyle (TLS) team, the Global Lounge Experiences team is a high impact group, responsible for the strategic definition and delivery of the Global Lounge Collection benefit to Amex’s global premium Card Members. The Global Lounge Collection benefit encompasses the Centurion Lounge network and access to network lounges through partnerships (i.e., Delta, Priority Pass).

The Global Lounge Operations Center of Excellence (COE) team is hiring for a Sr. Manager of Operator Strategy & Analysis. The Lounge Operations COE supports the broader lounge operations infrastructure which includes capacity planning, training, facilities maintenance, new lounge/expansion planning, third-party contracts, and partnerships. The Sr. Manager of Operator Strategy & Analysis will be responsible for the third-party service strategy of our proprietary American Express Centurion lounge assets. Key focus areas for this position will be operational financial analysis, vendor management/sourcing and performance management. This role will collaborate closely with the Global Lounge Experiences product and business development teams as well as various partners to drive strategic workforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Third-party service partner strategy: Create and manage strategy for third-party service partners across the Centurion Lounge operations network.

  • Financial Analysis: Monitor monthly financial performance; set up and manage financial reports to support projects and trend analysis.

  • Negotiation Strategy: Create and execute strategy for negotiations with third-party service partner(s)

  • Contract Management: Ongoing management of contracts to ensure performance complies with executed terms and ongoing compliance management.

  • Third-Party Partner Performance Monitoring: Define metrics, assess and evaluate partner performance to ensure they meet service quality and delivery standards.

  • Managing Partner Relationships: Lead ongoing business reviews

Qualifications:

We are looking for results-oriented candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A curious, strategic, ambitious, self-starter who can drive results with minimal supervision

  • Proven track record navigating complex negotiations and challenging projects to drive results

  • Exceptional relationship, negotiation, and influencing skills; proven ability to drive results through collaboration with partners

  • Attention to detail and an ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively across a variety of audiences and influence business decisions at all level

  • Excellent analytical, business & financial skills with ability to develop and evaluate revenue models plus navigate opportunities and pivots through complex negotiations

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks through thoughtful project planning and follow through for timely completion

Qualifications

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
