The Siri Speech team is looking for an exceptional senior software engineer to take a lead role in creating the next cutting edge features powered by Siri Speech Recognition.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is excited by the prospect of working on speech powered products used by millions of users. Our Engineers are creative, inspired, innovative, energetic, self motivated people who love making and shipping products. Are you one of us? You will be responsible for architecting and implementing Speech Recognition software solutions for impactful new customer-facing features on all of Apple’s platforms; iOS, watchOS, macOS, and tvOS. To succeed in this role, you must be a strong collaborator, and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Swift, Objective-C, or C++ programming experience

  • Strong Software Architecture skills

  • Proven track record of leading software development projects

  • Outstanding communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other equivalent technical field

  • Background in building applications on constrained hardware systems (limited memory, processing, and power)

  • Experience building well-documented, easy-to-use public APIs

  • Experience integrating speech recognition or other machine learning technologies
