The App Store Marketing team is seeking an experienced leader to define and lead the strategic vision of the worldwide App Store partner marketing group. The Senior Manager, WW App Store Partner Marketing will drive growth by defining and executing innovative partner marketing programs across a diverse partner ecosystem, including payment partners, developers, 3rd party referral sources, and others. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale programs that deliver high-quality traffic and billings to the App Store, creating significant value to our partners, and helping our developer partners stay informed on the benefits the App Store provides. Description
As the Senior Manager of our WW App Store Partner Marketing team, you will be responsible for leading and building a high-impact team that delivers value to our partners, developers and the App Store business through strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of global App Store partner marketing programs. The array of partners includes payment partners, developer partners as well as yet-to-be established partners who will drive high quality traffic to the App Store. A deep understanding of the mobile app ecosystem and it’s business models are critical to success here.
Ensure alignment between partner marketing initiatives and the broader marketing team’s goals, defining and tracking KPIs to measure success.
Engage with developers to plan and execute marketing programs that enhance customer engagement and drive business results.
Develop communication strategies to further highlight the value and benefits of the App Store for our developer partners
Influence and collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Product, Business Management, Analytics and our Regional marketing teams.
Apply performance marketing measurement frameworks to assess program effectiveness and optimization based on insights through continuous testing, learning, and iteration.
Present to senior leadership program performance and business impact updates as well as Explore and develop new partnership marketing opportunities within the Apple ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the mobile payments landscape and retail sales channels.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of proven leadership experience in managing performant teams delivering a culture of growth, passion and innovation.
Deep knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem, including monetization strategies and subscription models.
Experience developing and leading marketing strategies that led to increased user growth and long-term retention of a consumer facing service, app or game.
Proven success in originating and delivering B2B marketing programs, ideally for a developer ecosystem.
Strong ability to influence and align stakeholders across marketing, product, and business teams; thrives working on highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, fostering trust, handling decisions with ease while navigating ambiguity.
Expertise in customer engagement marketing and developer engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Experience measuring performance marketing programs and optimizing based on data-driven insights.
Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications
Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to translate business goals into actionable and impactful marketing programs.
Understanding of the mobile payments ecosystem and its impact on app marketing strategies.
Experience with either using or developing marketing technology, tools, automation and AI to streamline operations to help increase efficiency and output.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $191,400 and $344,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
