As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be a key part of the Corporate Tax team.
Description
As the Senior Tax Manager, you will manage all aspects of US and Canada's indirect taxes as well as US & Canadian DST’s. You will also be responsible for leading Washington’s B&O taxes. In this role you will track and implement new legislation and tax policy changes as well as manage the research and planning of new projects/processes for US and Canada. We are looking for an experience people leader who is able to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy and other cross-functional business teams.
Minimum Qualifications
15+ years of experience compliance, audit, and research and planning experience
10+ years of experience manage a team of Tax professionals
Experience with negotiating tax settlements and litigation with various jurisdictions
Proven ability to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, Privacy, and Business team
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA certification
CMI and/or Masters degree in Tax
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of prior US and Canada indirect tax experience
SAP, Vertex and CorpSales system experience
Experience with worldwide intracompany indirect tax issues
Experience with marketplace facilitator laws, digital goods, telecom taxes
Strong analytical skills
Collaborative orientation
Tax research and policy change proficiency
