We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated Construction Manager to join our team and oversee the construction management of Apple’s corporate facilities.
Description
Leadership and accountability for all construction activities within the site portfolio:
Responsibilities
Managing a full scale project management team tasked with delivering exceptional results in a fiscally responsible manner.
Engagement and management of design professionals and general contractors including architects, engineers and specialty consultants from programming to completion.
Drive functional and operational excellence of all projects and programs by providing consistent and prescript feedback to all multi-functional teams including real estate, design, innovation, standards,, direct sourcing, security, IS&T, etc.
Planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and executing of all technical and construction management services required to deliver large scale construction projects including creation and maintenance of the project budget and high level schedule.
Managing bespoke design elements that require attention to detail and industry leading techniques.
Review of all proposals, and change order requests from the consultants, general contractors, suppliers and subcontracts.
Extensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and function of buildings, building systems, machinery, and landscape to ensure new projects are designed to the highest architectural standards without sacrificing maintainability.
Engagement of and coordination with Apple EH&S, IT, Security and AV project managers, etc.
Management of the closeout process, handle warranty issues and turnover of the project to Facilities team.
Minimum Qualifications
Related experience in a construction lead role.
Project management/building construction experience with a demonstrated focus in making buildings outstanding workplaces that are highly functional and the ability to develop cost estimates, schedules, and analyze Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Strong background in commercial and lab construction to include mechanical, electrical, process piping, plumbing building systems, tenant improvement, site work and ground up construction. Advanced skills in project planning, execution & management processes.
Experience as a people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and coaching

Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Construction Management preferred.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,400 and $247,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
