Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Meet with stakeholders of wireless technologies team to define the requirements for data collection from Apple products to achieve data driven decision making. Define, develop & Track success metrics & datasets for new wireless HW/SW Features. Assess pre and post launch performance of iOS releases for Wireless Technology features. Present/summarize the insights and propose enhancements to product. Analyze / interpret data to evaluate performance & feasibility. Develop various predictive models that can be applied to optimize Wireless Performance of Apple products. Understanding of and passion for statistical modeling and data analysis. Experience with data mining/visualization to interpret wireless network critical metrics. Knowledge of wireless systems, architecture & protocols. Solid knowledge and experience with algorithms including classification, clustering, sensitivity analysis, decision trees, clustering, regression analysis for generating insights from crowd sourced data. Experience in software design/development is required to provide requirements for Key Performance Indicator definitions and provide suggestions on how to improve future products. Understanding of wireless systems and experience with applying machine learning techniques on wireless communications related problem statements. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,341 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 5 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Python and Java/Scala for data exploration, analysis, automation, and visualization

  • Wireless 4G/5G Networks.

  • Machine Learning for pattern recognition

  • Time Series Analysis for interpreting logs collected from devices.

  • Tableau for data visualization

  • Git

  • IMS protocol for analyzing call performance.

  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and query languages such as splunk and MySQL for generating insights from crowd sourced data
