American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payment solutions for businesses of all sizes. The Small Business Prospect Marketing (SBPM) team accelerates growth for US SME by developing best-in-class, integrated digital experiences from the first touchpoint in the acquisition journey through onboarding.
The Senior Manager, Creative Strategy & Acquisition Marketing, reporting to the Director of Paid Media & Creative Strategy, is a highly visible role, that will lead creative strategy and planning, enhance performance through superior creative, and influence across broader acquisition channels. This role involves creating and launching new creative content across various media platforms, developing a unified production process for multiple campaigns, leading a team of internal and external partners, and serving as a subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and visible environment and is passionate about shaping the future of acquisition media and marketing through creative and production leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
Set the agenda for Paid Media Creative taking a customer-centric & performance approach to drive conversions
Lead end-to-end creative development for our paid media campaigns across display, social, video and audio
Partner with external agencies, acting as client lead on strategy development, briefing, concept exploration, territory refinement, tactical approach, compliance reviews, and legal approvals
Coordinate campaigns with other marketing activities, ensuring consistency of experience for prospects
Drive innovation by investigating new channels and exploring new creative approaches
Analyze performance to drive creative optimizations and test and learn priorities
Bring an external perspective, identifying new formats/tactics to drive modernization/growth
Champion acquisition creative best practices and identify synergies across the organization
Collaborate with channel owners on creative development in affiliate, site, paid search, and referral channels
Lead a team of two direct reports
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in marketing experience
Strong strategic and creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling marketing strategies and translate into successful digital executions
Proven ability to define what winning looks like, drive results, challenge the status quo, and promote innovation
Proven track record of driving prioritization across multiple stakeholders
Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization and drive consensus and prioritization among key stakeholders
Strong external perspective with insight into digital ecosystems, trends, capabilities, publishers, and analytical capabilities
Ability to build a strong team culture grounded in coaching and team empowerment
Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and enjoy bringing your energy and enthusiasm to solve complex problems
Qualifications
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
