Description

As an Engineering Manager, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, leading a passionate team while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to drive the technical execution of our shared mission. You'll be instrumental in researching and developing exciting new features and your technical leadership will directly impact millions of users. Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience leading iOS, macOS, or systems-level development teams

  • 8+ years of software/firmware development experience with strong expertise in Swift/Objective-C/C/C++ Ability to take ownership, identify requirements, prioritize and make progress in an environment with limited given input

  • Proven track record of shipping complex software products and frameworks

  • Experience in device bringup, software development with concurrent programming, multi-threading, and distributed systems

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms

  • Hands on experience writing strong object-oriented code including creating frameworks, modular and testable software

  • Working knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols (e.g.. PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, CA)

  • Very strong in leading others and hands-on in programming, system design, and problem solving

  • Experience driving release decisions, scoping work, and driving bug convergence

  • Experience in cross team collaboration and communication across multiple timezones

  • Able to work in an ambiguous and highly interdependent work environment to get things done in an efficient and tactful way

  • Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects
