Our Austin Reception Services team provides superior customer service by greeting and connecting guests with their host, acting as a central information resource for team members, and ensuring a pleasant experience at our Austin campuses.
We are seeking an experienced and highly self-motivated professional with outstanding work ethic to join our team as a Receptionist to provide unmatched customer service to our guests and employees, and assist with administrative tasks.
Description
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and acting as first-level support for employees, vendors, and guests. You will greet and connect guests with their Apple host, issue temporary badges, direct employees to conference rooms, respond to general email inquiries, answer corporate phone calls, and build cross-functional relationships among departments in the building. You will also support administrative tasks, maintain general security awareness, and ensure common areas are well-maintained by submitting tickets as necessary to ensure compliance with current standards. Additional tasks may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of customer service experience in a corporate office setting [Internal candidates: or 6+ months in a rotational role with Reception]
Proficiency with iOS and macOS-based systems
Professional written and interpersonal communication skills
Skilled in time management and task prioritization
Experience with guest registration applications and collaboration tools
Demonstrated experience with calendar management tools and conference room booking systems
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous reception experience in a tech company environment
Experience working in a secure or badge-controlled environment
Ability to quickly grasp new technology workflows and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail
Proven ability to handle conflict appropriately; knows when to escalate issues upward and when to apply common sense
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and reporting skills
Comfortable working with all levels of an organization
Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships
Maintains professional composure while effectively addressing issues that arise
Experience training or mentoring other reception staff
