Job Description

Lead all strategy development and tactics related to the IBS-C/CIC consumer journey including value propositions, positioning, segmentation, and creative development. Serve as the subject matter expert for the Linzess Brand Team. Develop and articulate effective marketing strategies that are impactful, executable, and easily communicated, and clinical/financially supporting for areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing and Cross-functional business leaders to build, manage, and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives/goals, market, and financial results.

  • Drive and participate in Strategic Planning process, Plan, and workshops.

  • Demonstrate and utilize holistic understanding on financial planning and metrics.

  • Lead/manage direct team, external agency partnership, as well as co-promote partner.

  • Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate to deliver business results.

  • Develop and execute effective and efficient Media Strategy.

  • Manage and monitor P&L with detailed focus on Consumer spend for the brand.

  • Grow brand/product penetration, share and awareness.

  • Develop innovative tactics with keen insight for the brand, leveraging the patient journey.

  • Direct and manage projects, including execution of marketing plans, initiatives, and tasks.

  • Demonstrate strong Leadership Attributes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Proven marketing experience (10+ years pharma and/or external) with increased proficiency in all marketing skills. TV experience preferred.

  • Previous cross-franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.
