The Business Continuity + Disaster Recovery Manager is a member of the IT Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the development, implementation and management of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Programs for the Enterprise. This role will lead the enterprise through business continuity and disaster recovery events/incidents, and will ensure the organization's ability to operate effectively during and after disruptive events. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, risk management, and IT infrastructure, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A day in the life as a Business Continuity + Disaster Recovery Manager…
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive BC/DR plan that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in partnership with third party consultants
Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business functions and processes, and assess potential impacts of disruptions
Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, including data backup and recovery, system failover, and alternate processing site strategies
Design and conduct regular testing and exercises to validate the effectiveness of BC/DR plans and identify areas for improvement
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on their roles and responsibilities in business continuity and disaster recovery situations
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that BC/DR plans are integrated with business operations and IT systems
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business continuity and disaster recovery management
Maintain up-to-date documentation of BC/DR plans, procedures, and test results
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the BC/DR program and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Implement projects, tools and processes to support the BC/DR functions
Performance of other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical business personnel
Expertise in internal project consulting and providing compliance requirements
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
Ability to be on call 24x7
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
5+ years of experience with Business Continuity + Disaster Recovery
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, or certifications
Expertise in leading business continuity | disaster recovery events/incidents
Expertise in process development and improvement, internal consulting and providing compliance requirements and recommendations

Minimum Starting Rate: $110,400.00 Hourly
Up to: $138,000.00 Hourly
Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
