Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Write objective-c or swift code in support of features relating to UI for image generation on iOS, macOS, and VisionOS. Use Xcode to debug issues in the related areas above, as well as triaging bugs. Consult and triage issues for keyboards on VisionOS. Work with cross-functional partners and the team to define and architect features on iOS, macOS, and VisionOS. Use instruments, leaks, and memgraphs to identify jetsams and other performance optimizations in the code. Work with manual QA and automation QA to build test suites around the feature. Write unit tests and User Interface (UI) tests in support of the aforementioned features. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Utilizing Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit to design and develop multi-language codebases.
Utilizing Git, GitLab and BitBucket for source code management.
Debugging software using the interactive debugger in Xcode to triage and reproduce customer issues.
Translating design requirements into functional specifications.
Architecting and designing larger software systems.
Working cross-functionally with HI partners to design and build intuitive user interfaces.
Working cross-functionally with engineering partners to design API contracts to be used by other teams to build software.
Building, designing, and debugging using Xcode features on VisionOS.
Using performance analysis tools in Xcode to debug performance software issues, including leaks and dropped frames.
