American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leading B2B solutions provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The Marketing & Brand Strategy team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. We do this by deepening B2B brand engagement, enabling exceptional marketing, and delivering breakthrough go-to-market strategies.

The Senior Analyst, Paid Media is responsible for leading the day-to-day planning, execution and optimization of paid media campaigns to reach business audiences with mid and upper-funnel content. This includes campaigns to support GCS brand-level, segment-specific, and product and feature-driven content. This person will support the Sr Manager, Content Strategy & Distribution, in the growth and optimization of our paid media efforts across channels including paid social and social boosting, display media, and other platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns to support key GCS priorities

  • Own social paid boosting efforts to efficiently scale messages to incremental business audiences

  • Help define and develop audience strategies to nurture and engage upper-funnel audiences, building warmed pipelines for lower funnel treatment

  • Own the holistic testing backlog and reporting across audiences, creative formats, and platforms, applying learnings to inform future campaign strategies

  • Partner with internal marketing teams on their paid media roadmaps to plan a complimentary marketing approach that optimizes our efforts in paid channels

  • Collaborate closely with GCS & Enterprise paid media teams to ensure optimized targeting and media spend, leveraging best practices

  • Work with external media agency to support campaign planning and execution, and partner with internal creative/content teams to communicate creative asset needs and timelines, ensuring seamless, on-time launches

  • Contribute to integrated Go-To-Market plans, ensuring campaigns are connected across channels and effectively move audiences through the funnel

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant paid media experience in an agency or in-house environment

  • Working knowledge of the paid media landscape, including social and digital channels, and experience collaborating with external partners

  • Comfort with paid media metrics and analyses to synthesize channel results and provide strategic recommendations for enhancements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams, and present to leadership

  • Strong project management and critical thinking skills to work autonomously and meet deadlines and deliverables

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated leadership and ambition with a desire to add to team culture, colleague engagement, and development

  • Curiosity and a desire to innovate and explore new platforms and approaches

Qualifications

Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
