We’re looking for a Games Monetization Manager to join the Global App Store Monetization team and help shape the future of gaming at Apple—advocating for product improvements and delivering insights that empower developers to thrive on the App Store. We’re seeking someone passionate about gaming and with deep industry knowledge. You’ll leverage feedback from our developer community and market insights to enhance the developer experience and unlock new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in in-game monetization and economy design for free-to-play games, along with a collaborative mindset and a drive to make an impact.

Description

Deliver actionable, data-backed best practices to help game developers grow and succeed on the App Store.

Advocate for product and policy enhancements by synthethizing developer feedback, market research, and internal analysis into clear recommendations.

Partner cross-functionally to shape and prioritize the App Store product roadmap on behalf of game developers.

Lead competitive analysis and market research to uncover and act on new business opportunities by translating these insights into compelling proposals.

Design and execute developer engagement strategies to drive platform adoption and feature utilization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 + years of proven experience in product, growth, monetization, or business management within the mobile gaming space.

  • Deep knowledge of game monetization mechanics, particularly in free-to-play games, as well as a broader understanding of the gaming industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled at distilling complex ideas into clear, compelling presentations across all levels of an organization.

  • Proven ability to proactively drive projects forward, demonstrating critical thinking and navigating ambiguity.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building consensus across cross-functional teams.

  • Highly analytical, with a strong ability to uncover insights and support recommendations with data.

  • Passionate about mobile gaming and the opportunities the App Store creates for both players and developers.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; JD or MS/MBA a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
