Amex Digital Labs is responsible for catalyzing digital innovation at American Express by originating, incubating, and managing emerging products and platforms that can be essential to our customers’ digital lives. We strive to emphasize creativity, customer centricity, and innovation. Focus areas include crafting industry-leading digital payment solutions, using our outstanding servicing network and lifestyle assets to build digital experiences, and defining new products and services based on emerging technologies and trends.
The Global Digital Product Enablement team focuses on delivering product knowledge strategically across the organization and leading product operations across various digital payment and membership products/initiatives. The person in this role will be responsible for driving speed to market, while balancing the critical need for controls and risk mitigation, for key strategic projects on behalf of Amex Digital Labs. This person will develop a deep understanding of product initiatives and exhibit strong subject matter expertise in key Amex policies/processes.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Enablement team to drive the go-to-market strategy and develop the product operations for new and existing digital initiatives including:
Assisting in end-to-end internal management for the launch of new products, features/functionality, and various membership pilots/experiences
Serving as project manager across Amex Digital Labs teams (Product Enablement, Product Development, Business Development), while assisting Enablement team with managing stakeholders across American Express (e.g., Operational Excellence, Risk, Marketing and Servicing) teams to guide product through appropriate Amex reviews & approvals (i.e., Third-Party Management, New Product Governance)
Developing project trackers/overview decks, maintaining ongoing project update meetings, and regularly communicating with partners regarding product strategy/value proposition and project updates/changes
Anticipate project risks/issues proactively and ensure appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery
Champion efforts to build and implement process improvement, develop toolkits/resources, and reengineer activities across Amex Digital Labs to help increase agility and speed to market
Monitor ongoing performance of products live in market and provide thought leadership on post-mortems to optimize future launches
Minimum Qualifications:
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to work with partners across different functions and with colleagues at all levels
Strong skill in driving results against timelines, leading multiple priorities at once, and performing flawlessly
Outstanding PowerPoint skills; proven track record in building presentations through convincing storytelling
Demonstrated strategic, critical, and creative thinking to problem-solve obstacles and develop winning solutions
Exceptional organizational and program management skills to lead end-to-end partnerships across several key verticals simultaneously – product development/engineering & technology, marketing, operational excellence, servicing, legal, compliance, information security, etc.
Self-starter that can excel in a dynamic environment by driving decision-making, operating under pressure, and adapting to frequent change
Desire to learn consumer behavior and digital trends across categories and strong passion to want to work on initiatives within the evolving digital and mobile environment
Bachelor's Degree required

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
