We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team to help reimagine the Apple Engineer experience and shape the future of cloud infrastructure at Apple.
Description
As a Senior Product Designer on the Internal Tools HI design team, the candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, user-centric solutions for Apple engineers. This role requires an eye for pixel perfect detail, and possess a strong blend of information architecture, interaction and visual design skills. The position requires working under tight deadlines while receiving input from design leadership and various cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills, composure under pressure, and adaptability to rapid change are essential. With a passion for creating tools, the ability to tackle complex design challenges, and the drive to push the boundaries of user experience, the candidate will help set the design direction while contributing to process improvements and team growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven track record of solving complex interaction problems across multiple platforms. Portfolio showcasing excellence in interaction design, visual design, and problem-solving.
Outstanding ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through story telling, visuals, and presentations.
Expertise designing large-scale enterprise, B2B, or data-rich internal tools.
5+ years of design experience with a focus on web.
Demonstrated success in balancing technical data constructs with user requirements.
Proficiency in using Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Keynote, and similar tools.
Expertise documenting interaction details, visual design specifications, and quality checking implementation against design intent.
Experience in handling multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and change.
Passion for Apple, our products, and our customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing software developer-facing portals or software for professionals in complex industries.
Experience designing big data enterprise tools.
Able to confidently lead and present a design-first vision, balancing highly technical data constructs and demanding user requirements.
Experience in collaborating with product and engineering teams to iterate and improve design solutions.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
