Description
You will be part of a small team responsible for:
-Bench test, debug, and characterization of embedded on-chip circuitry (PLLs, DLLs, Clocks, Data Converters, DDR Memory, and various I/O Interfaces)
-Development of benchtop electrical tests exercising on-chip circuitry through a combination of FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces
-Drafting & Execution of scripts to automate tests, extract results, and generate reports using database and analytical tools
-Generating reports for characterization and/or debugging to provide design feedback
-In-system PI/SI measurements for correlation with simulation models
-Collaborating with cross functional teams including Design, System HW, and SW
-Supporting ATE and Product Engineering
Minimum Qualifications
- BSEE and 2+ years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
MSEE
Experience in analog & mixed signal test development that includes: review specification document; draft validation plan; build test bench; and perform data collection with automation
Strong fundamental understanding of analog & mixed signal circuitry in one or more of the following domains: PLL, Data Converter, DDR Memory, Temp Sensor, etc.
Proficient in lab instruments such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Pattern Generator, etc., with good understanding of their working principles
Experienced in scripting language, Python preferred, to automate test and analyze data
Detail-oriented & Emphasis on quality of results
Initiative in taking ownership & responsibility to drive deliverables
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on lab experience including soldering/instrumenting systems
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
