We are seeking an extraordinary Manager for the Recycling Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining recycling operations to enable best-in-class efficiency and material recovery. This role requires a strong blend of operations knowledge and an eye for business.
Description
The Recycling Operations (Recycling Supply Chain) Manager will partner with cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive best-in-class recycling and reuse operations. You’ll join a team of recycling enthusiasts driving innovative end-of-use processes that will set the bar for recovery in the industry, all while reducing our environmental impact and improving cost efficiency.
You will effectively analyze and present data to enable optimal decisions on logistical, operational & material recovery strategies. This role covers the full spectrum of end-of-use programs for electronic materials. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams to develop requirements, drive implementation, and coordinate fixes for logistical/operational issues. Additional responsibilities include:
Design project implementation plans for recycling & material recovery developments and implement plans with cross-functional teams.
Lead new process reviews and approve milestones and success criteria.
Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top issues to all levels of management.
Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements around environment, EH&S, trade, and waste shipment.
Ensure close inter-team coordination and end-to-end collaboration on deliverables.
Ability to build inclusive, high-impact team environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors' degree
10+ years of relevant experience in recycling operations or a related field
5+ years of management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced and skilled in prioritizing environmental, safety, and quality standards, with the ability to meet production goals without compromising any of the former.
Exceptional ability to drive continuous improvement across an operation. Data-driven and willing to act.
Skilled in optimizing factory layouts, footprint optimization, and time motion studies.
Leadership role of a labor force and manufacturing/warehouse team.
Experience managing shipping and receiving operations as well as stocking room materials. Minimize process inventory and achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Excellent record of delivering results on time in a manufacturing/industrial setting, with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, EHS, and customers to solve problems and create value.
Ability to develop and review metrics (KPIs) and generate reports/dashboards on performance & efficiency, regulatory compliance, budget, time delivery, order accuracy, fulfillment rates, fixed asset tracking, and targets on key turnarounds / audits / improvements.
Amazing collaboration skills, with the ability to pair subject matter expertise with a desire to support/champion the contributions of others. Enthusiastic and detailed while managing several work-streams.
Excellent presentation skills (Keynote).
Great teammate with a “hands-on” and “can-do” attitude.
Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
