Apple Accessories Hardware Engineering team is seeking a driven, hardworking Electrical Engineer. This is a rare and an extraordinary opportunity that allows expansive ownership over hardware system design, ability to influence system architecture and drive detailed system and x-functional validation planning and execution.

Description
You will become part of a hands-on development team that nurtures engineering excellence and creativity. On the team you will engage with a rewarding variety of responsibilities:
Being the technical lead for advising on system architecture, driving HW system design and implementation and product development life cycle.
Leading system schematic design, PCB layout and component selection and being the technical champion for all design reviews.
Driving detailed HW and silicon validation planning, influence its execution.
Collaborating with wide range of multi-functional teams involved in the product design and manufacturing process at Apple.
Some travel may be required as the need arises.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years of relevant proven experience
Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals with experience in prototyping, hardware bring-up, bench instrumentation and validation
Few years of experience in system hardware product design
Preferred Qualifications
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred
Experience with audio, wireless and sensor integration
Experience with high speed design / signal integrity including validation experience with VNA TDR
Intuitive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Microcontrollers, power (DC-DC converters, battery and power management), mixed circuits
Experience with firmware / embedded systems
Familiarity with various data protocols such as USB, UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, SWD
Product lead experience with wide HW design background, aspires to lead and drive technical initiatives is strongly preferred
System HW product design experience working with cross functional partners - EMC, desense, coexistence
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
