Description

As an iOS/macOS Engineer in AIML Evaluation, you will:

  • Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to improve the overall quality and user experience of numerous Apple products.

  • Design and develop on-device system and framework to enhance the quality of Apple Intelligence, ensuring our AI/ML models meet the highest standards.

  • Leverage machine learning technologies (e.g., LLMs, MLLMs) to automate on-device processes, generate and collect on-device signals, and advance the evaluation pipeline to the next level.

  • Continuously seek ways to enhance on-device evaluation frameworks, adopting best practices and integrating the latest advancements in technology.

  • You’ll play a pivotal role in developing Apple Intelligence, driving the next generation of groundbreaking products across all Apple platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of iOS or macOS development experience

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective C, etc.

  • Knowledge of Apple’s development APIs (Cocoa Touch, Cocoa, CoreFoundation, SwiftUI)

  • Ability to tackle complex challenges, think critically, and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude, thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree with applicable experience.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
