Description
Shelby Manufacturing, a Bunzl company, is hiring for a Production Worker - Cloth Cutter. This position is responsible for pulling orders, prepping cloths and dyes, as well as cutting cloths accordingly.
Responsibilities
Pull orders each evening for the next day
Hand out leather and dyes
Learn the different types of leathers and the correct dyes for each style of glove
Pick up dyes daily
Weigh leather daily and record
Keep track of leather distributed to and returned from Cutters each day
Take cut parts to Staging area as needed
Fill in for Inspectors as needed
Pick up scrap leather and bale each day
Stretch leather as needed
Plain blocks
Bail cardboard
Spread Material
Attain appropriate dye(s)
Cut cloth accordingly
Maintain records of cloths used
Box cut parts and set aside
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Cutting experience a plus, but not required
Dependable
Participate in Wonderlic Test
Self-Starter
Excellent Math/Figures Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Must be able to work Mon-Thurs 7:00AM-4:30PM and Friday 7:00AM-11:00AM. This position is fully onsite at our Glenwood, AR location.
