This role supports data policy integration and cross-risk operationalization efforts by contributing analysis, documentation, and coordination, and helps ensure that data risk and control requirements are consistently embedded within enterprise policies and practices.

Maintaining the enterprise Data Control Catalog by ensuring controls are accurately documented, mapped, and maintained to help mitigate data risks across the enterprise.
Supporting the ongoing updates, maintenance, and documentation of team-owned standards, procedures, and related artifacts to ensure alignment with enterprise policies, risk requirements, and evolving data practices.
Monitor emerging data and technology risk trends and escalate findings, issues, or opportunities to leadership to support proactive policy and control enhancements.
Support partnership efforts with Tech Risk, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and other stakeholders by preparing materials, coordinating meetings, and documenting outcomes.
Qualifications
2+ years of prior experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Risk Management, Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience supporting the analysis, documentation, or implementation of policies, standards, or controls, preferably in data, technology, or information security domains.
Familiarity with data risk and control concepts such as data protection, access management, issue management, and control documentation.
Foundational knowledge of data management concepts such as metadata, data lineage, data quality, and data architecture is preferred.
Experience gained at large US and/or global financial institutions.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a high degree of personal accountability.
Ability to work effectively in environments with ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document requirements and explain concepts to a broad stakeholder base.
