Description
We are looking for an attorney to join Apple’s Trademark & Copyright Team in the role of Trademark Counsel. The position is responsible for advising on a broad range of trademark matters with an emphasis on clearance, prosecution, dispute work, as well as experience in managing a large global trademark portfolio. The candidate must have experience in managing complex global disputes and be able to solve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways, while maintaining an acceptable level of legal risk in a fast-paced environment. This attorney will share responsibility with Apple’s other trademark attorneys and specialists for the company’s trademark practice.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years as a practicing attorney in trademark law with extensive US and international experience in clearance, prosecution, and dispute work.
Significant experience prosecuting trademark applications at the USPTO, with insight and knowledge of USPTO trademark procedures.
Experience managing foreign counsel on international clearance, prosecution and disputes.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar

Ability to work independently managing a busy day to day portfolio and collaborate with a large team.
Detail oriented and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Works well under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver practical business advice.
Strong business acumen with the ability to exercise sound commercial and legal judgment.
Creative problem-solver with ability to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways.
Experience in technology, consumer electronics, and entertainment/media industries a plus.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
