Description
As an Operations Product Development (OPD) Product Manager you will engage with the Apple Engineering, Product Design, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and Planning teams to shape product and roadmap definition as an advocate for cost & supply chain, while enabling feature-rich, best-in-class hardware products.
In this role you will help guide the Operations/Procurement teams to influence upcoming product features & roadmaps, identify and address gaps to success, and serve as a “one stop shop” to advise the broader organization on all things cost and supply chain.
This position requires very strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively influence peers and management, as well as a solid understanding of consumer electronics architecture, supply chains, and manufacturing cost structures. Ideal candidates will have a natural curiosity about how things work and why.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain or related area
BS/BA in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership
Ability to resolve ambiguity through a creative yet data-centric approach to program management/decision making
Strong analytical skills and ability to maintain attention to detail within big picture thinking
Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
