Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Coordinate localization projects with vendors, localization team staff, as well as marketing, legal, and other departments across Apple. Responsible for project management from concept level to launch. Work cross-functionally with App Store marketing teams, external vendors, localization team staff, design, and other teams to ensure that projects are completed under the required deadlines and maintain industry-leading quality standards. Oversee end-to-end localization workflow in a creative environment, plan for and manage localization projects and requirements across internal and external teams, scope, plan, and track project landmarks. Manage international copy and assets for on store, marketing, and social campaigns. Represent the team in marketing meetings and contribute to project kick-offs and meetings with cross-functional teams. Identify and communicate innovative solutions to streamline workflows and processes. Scope project requirements, set timelines, and ensuring ensure the localization of copy and creative assets is completed on time and meets industry-leading quality standards. Ensure the localized content is culturally relevant, legally compliant, and aligns with the brand’s global messaging. Coordinate translations and reviews, as well as tracking asset versions for up to 40 languages. Continuously evaluate and improve the localization workflow to increase efficiency and scalability. Identify bottlenecks, propose innovative solutions, and implement new tools or processes to streamline project management, reduce localization costs, and enhance the quality of localized content. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,898 - $197,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Translation and Localization Management, Project management, or Linguistic and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
Using industry-standard localization CAT tools (SDL Worldserver, Smartling) to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure the consistency and accuracy of localized content across languages and regions.
Experience in managing large-scale localization projects using project management platform (Workfont, Backstage) for global marketing campaigns across multiple languages (up to 40) and regions. Delivering projects from concept to go-live, adhering to strict deadlines.
Ensuring localized online marketing content is aligned with international marketing strategies and to resonates with diverse audiences using content management system (Backstage).
Handling large volumes of marketing copy and assets simultaneously across multiple platforms (e.g., online, in-store, social media), in up to 40 different languages, while maintaining high-quality standards using workflow automation tools (Medusa, Backstage, Workfront).
Managing localized marketing assets (text, images, video, etc.) across different platforms, ensuring all localized versions meet the quality and creative standards set by the marketing teams using platform such as Atelier or Workspace.
Experience in working across international markets, demonstrating a high degree of cultural sensitivity in adapting marketing content to various global audiences, ensuring culturally appropriate and relevant messaging using cultural adaptation methodologies.
Leading and collaborating with cross functional teams, including marketing, legal, design, and international teams, ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned and projects move forward smoothly.
Experience in overseeing and coordinating external localization vendors, ensuring they meet delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and localization standards for international marketing assets using Content management tools (Shakespeare).
