How will you make an impact in this role?
The AIM (Analytics, Investment & Marketing Enablement) team – a part of GCS Marketing– is the analytical engine that enables Global Commercial business portfolio of American Express. Accelerating growth momentum, increasing profitability, and powering up our value proposition are key objectives for this organization. It is the analytical engine that powers profitable business growth through consultative and innovative solutions across. The team enables GCS Marketing business by providing actionable insights to drive business strategy and growth. Incumbent in this role would work very closely with Marketing organization in Marketing space to provide meaningful analytics and actionable insights that help in creating growth strategies.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be at the intersection of business strategy and product discipline, offering well-rounded experience and development in bringing business and technology together to drive immense business value.
The individual in this role will be responsible for overlaying sales and marketing strategic needs with analytics and machine learning workstreams; and leverage his/her product experience to convert ideas into reality. This is a team of product managers, data scientists and engineers who are passionate about enabling products which support our prospect targeting strategy. The team partners closely with marketing & technology to develop APIs, data platforms and tools for American Express to more deeply understand commercial prospects, anticipate their needs and deliver personalized products and services.
Responsibilities
Support ongoing management and optimization of the product backlogs
Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria.
Use analytical skills to deep dive into the data to understand and use that to provide backing to results and reasoning for a product.
Work with data scientists, technologists, and marketing business partners to develop products and features within prospect marketing capabilities to work analytically and easily translate analytical solutions into actionable information
Interacting with users & stakeholders to identify needs & opportunities
Partnering with use case Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of end to end product and capability
Work collaboratively with business and product teams to support changes, develop, analyze, and deliver real-time solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Data Management and/or Product Development in building data capabilities
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Experience in Agile Scrum methodology or the Software Delivery Life Cycle
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders across geographies to drive collaboration and alignment
Ability to effectively interpret technical/business objectives and articulate solutions
The ability to think conceptually, change management skills and comfort with developing win-win solutions in the face of ambiguity and frequently changing landscape.
Experience with data analytics using advanced SQL is required
Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to drive compelling messages to broad audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Big Data ecosystem & working on large datasets
Python programming experience
Familiarity with salesforce and similar CRM platforms
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
