Worldwide Events and Experiences brings the best of Apple to life, showcasing our products, services and the values that drive our company. From global product launches and tailored creator experiences to impactful partner engagements and inspiring internal events, this team is charged with managing the end-to-end planning, production, in person experiences and all the unique details that make these events special. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in event design, management, operations, broadcast, and production. We’re looking for inventive and collaborative people from a variety of creative fields. If that’s you, then your next home may be here!

The Visual Systems Specialist is a hands-on technical role supporting the delivery of premium live and broadcast experiences for Apple at Worldwide Events venues and remote locations. This role is responsible for the reliable operation, visual integrity, and aesthetic excellence of large and small format LED display systems across rehearsals, live events, and broadcast productions.

Description

The Visual Systems Specialist works closely with video engineering, systems operations, transmission, and the broader Worldwide Events team, as well as cross functional internal partners and external vendors. Success in this role requires a high level of technical rigor, attention to detail, and calm execution in executive-facing environments with zero margin for error.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of experience operating LED display systems in corporate, live event, and broadcast environments.

  • Working knowledge of professional LED processing platforms (e.g., Brompton, Megapixel, Novastar, ROE, Barco).

  • Strong understanding of video signal flow, codecs, aspect ratios resolution management, genlock, and frame synchronization.

  • Ability to follow technical documentation and maintain clean, repeatable workflows.

  • Experience supporting executive-facing events with high expectations for precision, polish, and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broadcast LED experience, including camera-specific considerations such as refresh rate, shutter sync, and moiré mitigation.

  • Familiarity with media servers and playback systems (Disguise, Pixera, Watchout, Resolume).

  • Experience supporting executive presentations, product launches, studio-style broadcasts, or film sets.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for LED installations, including ground-supported and rigged systems.
