Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a key role in supporting the Worldwide Sales project team. You will play a meaningful role supporting strategic planning, portfolio management and governance, and supporting partner project requests. A core focus of the role involves, driving accountability and resolving compliance related matters and working with various legal teams.
Description
In this role, you will:
Assess, document, and coordinate with operational partners on policies, producers and customer experience to ensure privacy compliance.
Provide risk assessments with legal guidance, support audit remediation tracking, and handle privacy escalations.
Track, document, evaluate and mitigate privacy risks related to new system releases and process; provide updates and collaborate to the Privacy Champion, Privacy Legal, Privacy Compliance and other partners.
Engage with the Apple Legal Team to resolve commercial risks and impacts. Consult with the Sales Teams to address co-employment matters. Partner with the EMEIA BRP Team to gain EU Works Council approvals.
Work closely with Commercial Legal on initiatives involving our Sales Partners (Resellers and Telcos)
Lead strategic alignment through multi-year roadmaps and annual capital planning process for the sales team; lead portfolio level execution, reporting, and assessment.
Acting in a program management role for key cross functional initiatives within Sales.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires of 8+ years of leading complex and highly integrated projects
Deep expertise in project, program and portfolio planning and delivery; and the capability of setting standards, policy recommendations and mentoring others.
Knowledge of general privacy policies and/or regulatory requirements; and experience leading compliance related initiatives
Ability to communicate, establish rapport, build credibility across multiple business and technical teams, and influence others to get results across a broad cross functional team.
Strong analytical skills with a continuous process improvement mind set; ability presenting to teams of various teams and levels, conduct root cause analysis, and extract actionable insight.
Ability to facilitate meetings to capture feedback on implementations from partners.
High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things happen”
Experience collaborating on global projects with a geographically dispersed team in a highly-matrixed, fast-paced environment
Innovative mind set and ability to think “out of the box”, challenge status-quo and incorporate industry standards.
General understanding of tool/process automation using AI Tools
Exceptional decision-making abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Proficient in multiple styles of Release & Change Management processes including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and Iterative
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of sales and operations processes is preferred
Prior privacy experience preferred
Knowledge of insider trading policy and global privacy policies such as: GDPR, PIPL, LGPD, CCPA preferred
PMI or PMP certification preferred
Six Sigma preferred
Agile, SCRUM & Salesforce certification(s) preferred
Master's degree preferred
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,000 and $214,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
