Description:
Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium and large businesses. The Customer Growth Analytics Team is part of the Analytics, Investment Optimization and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team in the Global Commercial Services Marketing group within American Express.
The Customer Growth Analytics team is currently hiring a Director who will lead the team responsible for MM Card cross-sell and engagement analytics. The incumbent will partner across teams to drive strategies that power customer acquisitions and organic growth.
Responsibilities:
Design analytics powered strategies for Card cross-sell and engagement across Sales strategic expansion and Early Tenure teams.
Incumbent will partner with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Product and Decision Science teams to assess and identify opportunities for customer and revenue growth
Play a critical role in scaling treatments such as cross sell and commercial underwriting and enabling roll out of targeting solutions through rapid test and learn
Drive data driven solutions to enable optimal attempt strategy partnering very closely with Sales leadership team
Strong people leader who can lead, motivate, and coach the team and is able to foster a collaborative team environment. Prioritizing efforts to help the team focus on the most impactful opportunities.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred or MBA.
Strong analytics, quantitative, thought leadership, and project management skills with a demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to translate analytical results in data-driven business strategies.
High quality written and oral communication skills with ability to synthesize key points/priorities and influence business decision making.
Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, and extensive experience engaging with and influencing partners across various functions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
Willingness to challenge the status quo; breakthrough thinking to generate insights, alternatives, and opportunities for business success.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $144,250.00 to $256,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
