You will be a part of the iPhone product development engineering team and will help in disassembling/assembling prototypes, rework, troubleshooting and PCBA assembly. You will be responsible for supporting a variety of requests from a large team of engineers. Some of those requests will be to publish expected material ETA’s and material on-hand associated with engineering builds. Additionally, the candidate will conduct engineering material pick-ups at various locations, unboxing, organizing and distribution of the material based on requests. Candidate will also track, distribute and collect test equipment. We are searching for an EE Technician with good rework and prototyping skills for this position. Come join the team!

Description

Ability to solder and rework (0201, QFNs, BGAs, CSPs, etc.) both on rigid PCBs and flexes.
Assist engineers in board level trouble shooting failures to root cause. Experience with power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes etc. Tracking, receive, organize and distribute material to engineering team. Plan and maintain lab facilities for efficient efficiency. Coordinate and maintain stock of critical components test equipment for rapid prototyping/testing. Handle and maintain lab with appropriate cables, connectors, adapters, and other peripherals. Handle and supervise equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers and probes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or validated experience in lieu of.

  • 4+ years of related experience in engineering labs

  • Soldering and rework skills (01005, QFNs, BGAs, CSPs etc.) both on rigid PCBs and flexes

  • Excellent ability to perform hands-on disassembly and make experimental modifications to intricate hardware

  • Experience in reading schematics and layout of multi-layer boards / flexes.

  • Confirmed to be a leader with demonstrated inventory management

  • Understand inventory management requirements

  • Motivated, meticulous and results driven creative problem solver

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including organization skills.

  • Strong digital literacy (Mac, Excel / Numbers, Keynote)

  • Good interpersonal and verbal/written/presentation kills.

  • Able to balance multiple tasks at once.

  • Ability to complete task on time

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
