The Ad Marketplace team seeks Product Managers with strong technical and analytical abilities to develop privacy-first advertising products. These products deliver safe, relevant, engaging, and mutually beneficial ad experiences for consumers and advertisers. Description
Join our team to build a premier ad platform connecting Apple users with advertisers offering the products and services they seek. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful innovation in a world-class environment!
Leverage LLMs for Ad Retrieval and Ranking: Use large language models to identify relevant and useful ads, predict ad relevance, optimize for high-quality ad experiences, and scale real-time predictions for billions of devices and users.
Enhance Ad Relevance and Safety: Develop machine learning and natural language processing solutions to understand user search intent, protect users from offensive or low-quality content, and predict ads that enhance user satisfaction.
Collaborate Across Apple Teams: Partner with teams across Apple to identify, transform, and adopt signals, models, and data to enhance our ad models.
Develop Online Inference Solutions: Work with client and server teams to create solutions for online inference, enabling model execution on servers or devices.
Own the Product Roadmap: Define the roadmap, establish key performance indicators, set priorities, and drive progress in developing new signals, features, embeddings, and machine learning models to improve ad retrieval and predictions.
Generate Actionable Insights: Analyze data to identify trends and build intelligence that powers our advertising platform and informs product roadmaps.
Define and Drive Features: Articulate product enhancements through clear requirements, detailed diagrams, and effective communication to guide engineering teams to successful implementation.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineers to prioritize tasks and execute efficiently, synthesizing insights from research, customer feedback, platform performance, and sales to shape strategic priorities.
Strategize with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, engineering managers, and go-to-market teams to craft and implement roadmaps that align with business goals and elevate the customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience or coursework in machine learning systems and prediction models.
Strong technical and analytical abilities, including proficiency in SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of product management experience, with ownership of the full product development cycle from concept to launch.
Experience developing advertising platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and requirements to engineers and business partners.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to define and drive product strategy and roadmaps.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence without authority, promote concepts internally, and drive decision-making across organizations.
Self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
