Our group is responsible for implementing and managing leading edge applications including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Global compliance platform (FMD - Full Material Disclosure), and Enterprise Data Services (EDS) to manage Product Information for Apple’s Hardware and Software product development and innovation. We passionately contribute towards large high-impact projects that serve key Apple lines of business.
We are looking for an Engineer who has proven experience working on Siemens Teamcenter suite of applications to help design, develop and support high quality enterprise software solutions to manage regulatory compliance of Apple Products (Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch). In this role, you will be partnering with cross functional teams across Apple. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, hands-on technical individual with excellent communication skills.

Description

Join the IS&T Product Engineering Systems team as a PLM Teamcenter Software Engineer where you will help build innovative enterprise software applications. Your responsibilities include working with the business stakeholders to define the sprint scope; developing architecture and detail design; implementation and application maintenance.
You must be able to work with cross-functional teams within IS&T and business groups. You must be able to operate with minimal directions with on-time results.
This is a role with exciting opportunities for learning that will also leverage your coding, debugging, leadership, and inter-personal skills as you work with other team members.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise level Teamcenter solution

  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming fundamentals, including core language concepts, object-oriented programming principles, memory management, and Standard Template Library (STL)

  • Experience with translating sophisticated functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

  • Full lifecycle PLM enterprise application implementation experience (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)

  • Design, develop, configure, customize and maintain, all aspects of a business critical Teamcenter application including the following areas: Web Tier (TcWeb), ServerManager (Pool manager), enterprise tier, TCCS, BMIDE, TcRA, IMM, AWC, FMS

  • Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

  • Ability to write efficient and optimized code

  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills

  • Able to work/coordinate with multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE leveraging SOA/REST services, with exposure to React frameworks for Active Workspace customization
