Description

At Apple Music, you’ll be part of a passionate, world-class team focused on redefining how people experience music. You’ll help shape the next wave of innovation at the intersection of culture and technology, with a direct impact on millions of users globally.

As the Head of Product for AI & Personalization at Apple Music, you will set the vision and strategy for how we harness artificial intelligence to deliver deeply personal, intuitive, and engaging music experiences. You’ll lead the end-to-end product direction for personalization, recommendations, search relevance, user modeling, and content discovery—ensuring that every interaction feels uniquely tailored and aligned with our users’ tastes and behaviors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years leading AI/ML or personalization-focused product teams.

  • Proven track record of shipping large-scale, ML-powered consumer products.

  • Deep understanding of machine learning technologies, recommendation systems, user segmentation, and real-time personalization systems.

  • Experience leading experimentation and A/B testing at scale, ideally in a subscription or content platform.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.

  • Passion for music and a deep appreciation for Apple’s mission and design principles.

  • Able to shape information to the appropriate level of detail and communicate it effectively.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; able to align diverse teams around a shared vision while confidently standing behind great ideas with clarity and conviction.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization

  • Thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles decisions with ease, and has the ability to navigate ambiguity.
