Description
In this role as a Wireless Standards Manager, specifically in the 3GPP SA2/CT area, you will be working with cross functional teams to develop practical technical solutions, representing Apple and driving Apple’s strategic interest for 5G/6G and their evolutions in 3GPP and other related global standard bodies. You will also be responsible for managing the 3GPP SA2/CT delegation team.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of wireless systems experience.
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams on technical initiatives and IP generations.
Strong knowledge of wireless/internet standards, including but not limited to 3GPP 5G-NR/5GC, 4G, 3G and their applications.
Direct hands-on experience in participation of major global standardization organizations, such as 3GPP, GSMA, NGMN, ETSI, etc., with a proven track record in achieving effective standardization deliveries.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent IP generation skills.
Self-motivated, obsessively passionate and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,200 and $325,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
