How will you make an impact in this role?
Global Real Estate and Workplace Experience (GREWE) is a global team at American Express (Amex) responsible for the full lifecycle of planning, execution, and operations of Amex real estate. GREWE supports over 75,000 Amex colleagues and contractors in over eight million square feet of property located in 59 countries. Our real estate portfolio consists of large full-service campuses, office buildings, sales offices, airport lounges and data centers. The global GREWE team is comprised of ~100 Amex full time staff that leverage ~5,000 contractors and is part of the broader Global Servicing Group organization which delivers shared business services to colleagues across the enterprise.

The Executive Concierge will be the first point of contact for our Executive Level floors. This individual will represent the company with the utmost professionalism, delivering elevated guest experiences for our Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and some of the most influential leaders and stakeholders within our ecosystem, ensuring that every detail reflects the Amex culture. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional, possess exceptional communication skills, a poised demeanor, with a hospitality-driven mindset.
- Deliver a Seamless Executive & Guest Experience
The Executive Concierge serves as the primary host and point of contact for Executive Leaders, Board Members, and guests, setting the standard for professionalism and hospitality on the Executive Level floors. Every interaction is managed with discretion, polish, and a deep commitment to excellence, reinforcing both the organization’s values and its reputation at the highest levels. With an anticipatory, concierge-driven approach, the Executive Concierge curates a seamless and personalized guest journey, ensuring that from arrival to departure, each experience is effortless, memorable, and reflective of the prestige of our brand.
- Orchestrate Executive Floor Operations
The Executive Concierge oversees the day-to-day readiness of executive-level spaces, including reception areas, conference rooms, and lounges, ensuring that each environment consistently reflects the organization’s standards of excellence. Working cross-functionally with Workplace Experience, Security, Facilities, and IT, this role orchestrates flawless service delivery and seamless operations across the Executive Level. By coordinating meeting and event logistics with precision and polish, the Executive Concierge creates a brand-aligned environment that is both functional and distinguished, while always elevating the experience.
- Act as a Workplace Experience Ambassador
The Executive Concierge represents the company’s values and culture by delivering elevated service and thoughtful engagement with every interaction. This role actively captures and shares executive and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement in the workplace experience, ensuring that services evolve to meet the highest standards of excellence.
- Deliver a Seamless Executive & Guest Experience
Maintain a refined and welcoming environment across all executive-facing touchpoints, reinforcing the organization’s culture and brand through polished presentation and service.
Serve as the primary host and point of contact ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, discretion, and the highest standards of hospitality.
Anticipate and respond to executive and guest needs by delivering a concierge-caliber service journey that is seamless, personalized, and aligned with the company’s reputation for excellence

Oversee the day-to-day readiness of executive-level spaces, including reception areas, conference rooms, and lounges, ensuring they consistently reflect organizational standards of excellence.
Partner with Workplace Experience, Security, Facilities, and IT teams to deliver seamless, cross-functional support that sustains flawless operations on the Executive Level.
Coordinate with EA, DA and VPAs to execute event logistics with precision and polish, ensuring spaces, services, and experiences remain consistently professional, and brand aligned.
- Act as a Workplace Experience Ambassador
Create a welcoming environment on the Executive Floors by fostering positive interactions that reflect the Amex’s culture and Blue Box Values.
Capture and share executive and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement in workplace experience services, ensuring evolving needs are consistently met with excellence
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bach elor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an executive-level receptionist, concierge, or in a high-touch hospitality role.
Experience in a corporate or luxury hotel environment is strongly preferred.
Experience in working within strict security protocols is strongly preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with a polished and professional presence.
Corporate real estate operations and/or security protocols preferred but not required.
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly bonus benefits
