The Design Coordinator, Monogram serves as the key liaison between the Design, Merchant, Creative, and Distribution Center teams to ensure seamless execution of Personalization across all applicable product categories. This role combines strong design sensibility with technical execution and operational coordination.

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, Illinois office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Design Coordinator, Monogram…

  • Partner with the Design team to align on personalization opportunities for each season

  • Curate and select seasonal fonts and colors in partnership with Design

  • Create and maintain accurate PZ spec sheets across categories

  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure all products are correctly specified for machine/monogram execution

  • Travel to Romeoville Distribution Center as needed to support sampling and implementation

  • Partner with the Distribution team to produce accurate PZ samples and adapt spec sheets based on machine/monogram capabilities

  • Provide QA support during new product launches, ensuring all SKUs render correctly and meet quality standards

  • Present seasonal PZ specifications at Final Sample Review

  • Partner with Merchants to review the PZ log and ensure product eligibility for personalization

  • Liaise with the Photo Studio and Creative teams to support accurate representation of personalized products

  • Collaborate with the B2B team to create spec sheets and support custom orders or special programs

  • Strong design eye with experience in typography and color selection

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex product specs

  • Effective cross-functional communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment and partner with business stakeholders and other designers

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptiveness

  • Ability to problem-solve creatively

  • Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples

  • 2 years of experience in Graphic Design

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Graphic Design

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent Typography skills

  • Experience working in Brand Identity Development: Designing logos, color palettes, and visual guidelines for companies or products

  • Experience with Editorial & Publication design, layout for books, magazines, brochures, and newsletters

  • Experience with package design; creating visual systems for physical products—often integrating type, illustration, and print production knowledge

Minimum Starting Rate: $58,000.00 Annually

Up to: $70,000.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
