Role Number: 200619719-0157
At Apple, we believe our most important resource—our soul—is our people. We are seeking a visionary and highly influential leader to architect and lead the transformation of our global recruiting processes. This is a strategic role focused on building and leading our Recruiting process design program. Your primary mission will be to bring alignment, consistency, and optimization to how we operate, creating a unified framework for a complex, global organization.
Do you have a passion for helping others succeed and genuinely believe that talent is the greatest asset of any company? Join us!
Description
This is not a traditional product management role focused on a technology roadmap. You are a business architect and master facilitator responsible for getting our global Recruiting organization to define, commit to, and continuously improve its processes. You will partner deeply with our Recruiting Technology teams, but your focus is on designing the business operating model that technology will then enable. This is a pivotal role for a leader who thrives on bringing order to chaos and building governance frameworks that last.
Responsibilities
Help shape and drive large scale transformational process and technology initiatives including establishing governance, standards and continuous improvement rhythms for the entire global recruiting organization
Serve as a business/functional architect for Apple's global recruiting processes, guiding the transition from decentralized practices to a cohesive, optimized operating model
Facilitate high-stakes workshops with senior leaders and opinionated subject matter experts, masterfully navigating diverse perspectives to reach well-explored decisions and drive alignment
Translate complex business challenges into streamlined, scalable process designs, considering the intricate intersections of people, technology, and global compliance
Partner closely with the Recruiting Technology product team to ensure technology informs business process decision-making and enables the successful execution of business process changes
Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies, set measurable targets for improvement, and deliver executive-level dashboards showing program progress
Proactively identify and map complex upstream, downstream, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure process changes are implemented smoothly and holistically
Visualize concepts in real-time (slides, whiteboards) during complex discussions to document the thought process, clarify options, and solidify decisions
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience with recruiting in the areas of operations, process excellence, business architecture, or large-scale program management, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale (100k+ employees preferred) transformation
Direct, hands-on experience building a Recruiting Center of Excellence (COE) or a similar governance program from scratch and maturing it into a self-sustaining function
Expert-level facilitation and influencing skills, with demonstrated success in applying collaboration and leadership to align fractious groups of senior leaders and SMEs on complex and contentious topics
Deep expertise in business process architecture, with the ability to design and articulate solutions at the intersection of process, technology, and global compliance
Demonstrated skill at listening to business requests to understand the "why" and business problem behind them, delivering what's needed, not just what's asked
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to define problems, set measurable targets, and report on program success to an executive audience
Working knowledge of global recruiting compliance and a creative aptitude for designing robust solutions within regulatory frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading a recruiting organization's transition from in-house developed products to enterprise SaaS solutions, with a deep understanding of the process implications
Experience in supply chain, logistics, or other complex operational domains outside of HR, bringing a unique perspective on process optimization at scale
A natural ability to foster trust and build strong, collaborative relationships between SMEs, end-users, leaders, and cross-functional partners
