We are seeking an exceptional and highly-motivated Data Operations Engineer to assist our team’s data collection efforts across a variety of core technologies. A deep understanding of user study/data collection fundamentals and strong command of Apple’s product ecosystem will be critical to succeeding in our organization's highly dynamic and cross-functional landscape.

Description
In this role, you will be empowered to:
Plan, execute and track large scale data collections and user studies for algorithm development domestically and internationally where applicable
Bring-up and maintain pre-release hardware and software platforms used for data collection across multiple locales
Track and report on progress, blockers and key deliverables to senior leadership
Collaborate with hardware, software, infrastructure and algorithm teams on requirements for data collections, HW/SW platforms, study design, etc.
Create and maintain documentation for HW/SW platform setup and protocol for vendor training and deployment
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following fields/roles: Operations (i.e. data, product, lab, R&D, etc.), Test/Quality/Support Engineering or Technical Program Management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scoping, bidding and contracting third party vendors for short and long-term projects
Strong background in creating complex roadmaps/schedules with timely delivery across key milestones
Sound technical troubleshooting and triage methodology
Motivated and proactive approach to resolving issues

Clear and concise written and verbal communication, and communicates with technical and non-technical individuals with ease

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
